DATA SPECIALIST

Position Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Data Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of grant programming data for our Nutrition & Education Programs (NEP). The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, advanced computer skills, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.

LOCATION:

Southwest Pennsylvania. Remote flexibility with mandatory office presence required twice a week at one of the following locations: Allegheny County (downtown Pittsburgh, Turtle Creek or Langley), Kittanning, PA – Armstrong County; Monaca, PA – Beaver County, or Johnstown, PA – Cambria County.

Responsibilities:

  • Review grant programming data provided by NEP staff to ensure validity.
  • Accurately enter grant programming data across multiple platforms on a regular basis.
  • Utilize available reports to routinely audit data entered across platforms.
  • Collaborate with NEP staff for seamless workflow and effective communication.
  • Share data themes and progress towards outcome measures internally.
  • Provide feedback for quarterly internal Data Warehouse working group calls.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in multitasking with exceptional accuracy.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Series, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to tasks.
  • Commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Efficient and effective written and verbal communication.
  • Willingness to participate in meetings and trainings to continually develop skills.
  • Experience with data management and reports preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Strong data entry, typing, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with database management and/or entering data into grant management platforms is desired.
