SUMMARY: Alchera, Inc., operating as SafeinHome, Inc., specializes in providing Remote Supports for Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and Older Adults. Our Remote Supports Service provides a real-time connection to our trained Remote Supports staff available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The objective of SafeinHome Remote Supports is to promote autonomy, self-determination, independence, well-being, and inclusion for individuals while enabling them to stay connected with their desired support services remotely.

As a SafeinHome Remote Supports Consultant (RSC), you will play a critical role in developing relationships with members of the disability community to include individuals seeking service, case managers/support coordinators, families, direct-care providers, Advocacy organizations, managed care organizations, local community entities, and state divisions of disability services. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the understanding, acquisition, and implementation of Remote Supports Services for persons to whom SafeinHome has received a referral for service. This is ultimately delivered by ensuring that individuals are provided person-centered solutions that best meet their goals of independence and self-determination. This role requires a combination of empathy, compassion, technical proficiency, and consultation expertise. You will guide members of the community through multiple steps of the process from introduction of the concept on through to the commencement of Remote Supports services for individuals and their support team. SafeinHome’s Service Promise is a collaborative effort to ensure a world-class service experience for every person in the community – at every touch point – every time. As an RSC, you will be expected to deliver on SafeinHome core foundational elements of excellent customer service: Communication, Active Listening, Quality Assurance, Problem-solving & Resolution, Timeliness, and Flexibility & Adaptability. All the while increasing the number of persons served within a designated geographic territory, thus maximizing company financial objectives within the territory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including, but not limited to:

· Community Member Engagement: Attend, organize, and conduct in-person meetings with a wide range of community partners to include Case Management entities, direct-care providers, Advocacy Organizations, Local Government entities serving the Medicaid Community, Families, and Individuals seeking service for the purpose of education and increasing the number of people aware of and utilizing SafeinHome Remote Supports.

· Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong consultative relationships with the individuals and their support team while understanding their unique needs and challenges, and how SafeinHome Remote Supports can support their goals of autonomy and independence.

· Professional Growth: Participate in scheduled meetings, training sessions, conferences, and other events organized by members of the community both Internal and External to SafeinHome to consistently enhance and grow your professional image and understanding of the unique needs of the disability community.

· Internal Engagement: Participate in all mandatory Company events, including training sessions, weekly meetings, conference calls, regional meetings, conferences, trade shows, and exhibitions, as required by the Company or any pertinent government or licensing authority.

· Consultative Skills: Identify and qualify potential individuals who could benefit from Remote Supports Services, conducting thorough consultations and proposing tailored solutions. Possess the capability to function effectively in diverse home environments, recognizing that each client’s residence presents unique challenges, some more demanding than others.

· Service Knowledge: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the company’s Remote Supports offerings, including the technology involved, service capabilities, and benefits for clients.

· Implementation Support: Guide clients through the set-up and integration of Remote Supports systems.

· Consultative Strategy: Execute a prescriptive strategy to maximize bringing people on service, including prospecting, lead qualification, and pipeline management.

· Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes affecting the intellectual and developmental disabilities sector.

· Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, territory activities, and service implementation progress, providing regular updates to management.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and work a minimum of full-time equivalent hours during standard business hours. Must be able to assess and understand the functions of sensors, cameras, and other equipment to develop an optimal in-home solution proposal for seniors and persons with developmental disabilities. You will work both independently and with our sales team. Occasional travel outside the state may be required. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must be able to work in environments that may contain dust, dirt, noise, insects and cleaning solutions. Must have the ability to work in a variety ‘home environments’ (each client’s home will be different, some more challenging to work in than others).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in a relevant field preferred (e.g., social work, psychology) and/or 3-5 years of relevant sales experience performing presentations, meetings, and ongoing customer management.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Employee must have the ability to use Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Microsoft & other Server Operating Systems, active directory, web browsers, mobile, laptop or desktop technologies, etc. Employee must have the ability to articulate a clear solution-oriented message to Clients, Guardians, Case Managers, State/Local employees, Home Care Provider/Agency employees and to employees of the Company. Employee must have the ability to clearly communicate Client needs to the technical and product development teams as needed. Employee must have the ability to perform work in various living environments as indicated by the Client environment. Employee must have the ability to perform work in various living environments as indicated by the Client environment and must have the ability & technical aptitude to perform their job via video conference and teleconference (with or without video) in a professional, ethical & effective manner.

Employee must have the ability to handle and manage stressful situations and the ability to escalate, as appropriate, issues that require either input from management, or delegate, as appropriate, issues that are better handled through other Company employees, as necessary or prescribed by Company policies & procedures, and/or Managers of the Company.

BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES: Employee must exhibit excellent Client relationship management and overall communication skills. Employee must be able to follow specific directions by any Company Manager without making repeated mistakes, significant errors in good judgement, and without requiring multiple, repeated re-training, and committed to improvement. Employee must deliver required results with high levels of Client satisfaction, both internal and external.

Employee must exhibit personal confidence, must be responsible, dependable, punctual, realistic, positive, flexible, efficient, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to work independently. Methodical, neat and clean work habits. Excellent documentation and organizational skills are required. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities and older adults. Proven ability to work remotely, prioritizing tasks, and managing time effectively.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: Extensive travel (~75% of the time) around the territory is required (occasional overnight travel). This position requires traveling to meet with individuals, state entities, as well as internal regional meetings.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must be a legal U.S. resident, hold a valid driver’s license and have a driving record showing zero felony convictions and less than three moving violations in the previous three years. The individual must be able to pass a state and federal criminal background check and relevant financial background checks, agree to inform the company of any subsequent arrests, and submit to additional background checks when required by any relevant agency or on the request of the Company for any reason or as may be required from time-to-time.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as Individual Service Plans and Proposal Documents. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of Clients or employees of the organization. Commitment to understanding the critical importance of “people first” language as it applies to individuals with developmental disabilities and using such language in all communications.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers of common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but involved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
