A full-time remote Event Planning Coordinator is needed to support our client, Dell!
Salary: $40,000-$50,000

Job Description:
Hotel Planning:
- Coordinate with hotels and venues to secure bookings for events.
- Negotiate contracts and manage room blocks to ensure optimal accommodation for clients and guests.
- Collaborate with hotel staff to arrange event setups, catering, and audiovisual requirements.
Client Experience:
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the event planning process.
- Conduct initial consultations to understand client needs and preferences.
- Provide personalized recommendations and guidance to enhance the client’s event experience.
- Manage client expectations and address any concerns or requests promptly.
Event Coordination:
- Develop detailed event timelines and schedules to ensure smooth execution.
- Coordinate logistics, including transportation, signage, and guest accommodations.
- Work closely with vendors and suppliers to arrange services and rentals as needed.
- Oversee on-site event setup, ensuring all elements are executed according to the client’s vision.
Flexibility and Problem-Solving:
- Demonstrate the ability to pivot and adapt to changing client requests or unexpected challenges.
- Maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations.
- Anticipate potential issues and proactively implement solutions to ensure successful outcomes.
Weekend Availability:
- Be available to work weekends as required by event schedules.
- Manage weekend events with efficiency and dedication to meeting client expectations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in event planning or hospitality, with a focus on hotel coordination preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and vendors.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in time management and multitasking.
- Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to changing priorities.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively under pressure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or related field preferred.
