Job Description: American Directions is seeking enthusiastic and friendly individuals for the role of Market Research Telephone Interviewer. This remote position involves conducting telephone surveys, gathering and recording opinions from across the United States. Ideal candidates will be outgoing, personable, and able to work independently.

Technical Requirements:

  • Desktop computer or laptop (Windows 10 or newer, no Macbooks or Chromebooks)
  • Minimum 1 gig of RAM
  • Firefox browser installed and up-to-date
  • Ability to connect via Ethernet cord to the Internet modem
  • Home or cell phone (for contacting supervisors, not for surveys)
  • Web cam (for training and meetings only)
  • USB headset
  • Acceptable internet speed (round trip time of 150ms or less)

Skills Needed:

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose computer issues with limited assistance
  • Exceptional communication skills with a friendly and persistent phone demeanor
  • Ability to pass reading and pronunciation tests
  • Task-oriented and focused
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task
  • Proficient typing skills for recording verbal responses
  • Basic computer skills for operating survey software

Hours of Operation:

  • DAILY: 5pm-1am EST / 4pm-12am CST / 3pm-11pm MST / 2pm-10pm PST

Location: Remote (Hiring in various states including Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Texas, and more)
