POSITION SUMMARY – This position works under general supervision and is responsible for providing data entry support to the accounts payable team. This includes entering and retrieving data using various databases and software applications as well as maintaining appropriate files and related documents.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: (This list is not intended to detail all aspects of the assigned work but is representative of the job’s overall responsibilities.)
- Sort group email boxes to appropriate subfolders.
- Enter vendor invoices into the accounting system software.
- Retrieve invoices from portals.
- Update and verify existing data by comparing it to source documents.
- Obtain further information for incomplete documents.
- Other tasks as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY – None.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE – Minimum one year of experience in data entry. Accurate typing ability by touch. Demonstrated knowledge of office practices and procedures. Experience with Microsoft Office Suites and Adobe.

- Knowledge of basic office procedures and practices.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites and Adobe.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with those encountered in the course of work.
- Ability to accomplish work and stay on task with minimal supervision

PHYSICAL DEMANDS – The work requires the ability to operate a variety computer systems; visual acuity required to read, verify and enter various data from documents related to the work; all work is performed at a desk and is mostly sedentary.
