General Purpose:
Join our team as a Customer Service Associate and deliver exceptional service to our valued customers. In this role, you will manage customer interactions, provide information about products and services, and handle order management activities. Your goal will be to ensure a positive customer experience from order receipt through invoice, resolving any issues that arise along the way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers via telephone and written correspondence. Gather and provide information about services, order status, logistics, and more.
- Order Processing: Receive, process, and manage customer orders. Provide updates on order status, pricing, delivery, and changes. Navigate multiple systems to manage orders effectively.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve customer issues following established procedures. Escalate complex issues as necessary.
- Error Investigation: Identify and correct errors related to customer orders and inquiries.
- Department Coordination: Work with other departments to meet customer service needs and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Record Maintenance: Update and maintain customer records using internal systems.
- Service Expansion: Potentially offer additional services or products to customers.
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as required to support customer service objectives.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 0 to 1 year of customer service or related experience.
- Certification: Certification and/or license may be required during employment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems.
- Strong customer focus with the ability to handle inquiries and complaints courteously and efficiently.
- Professional demeanor and effective interpersonal skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication abilities for diverse audiences.
- Basic research skills and attention to detail.
- Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Accuracy in performing repetitive tasks and basic arithmetic.
